This summer, Shane English School Taiwan took their students to one of the UK’s most prestigious independent schools – Clifton College. It is located in Clifton, Bristol England. It’s a safe, elegant, residential suburb for students to spend their summer.
This program offered courses and activities for different age groups. It gave students a more focused learning environment as well as the ability to make friends easily. Shane English School Taiwan’s students loved spending quality time with their residential friends at the house. Moreover, every weekend and Thursday afternoon was their favorite time of the week because they had the chance to travel to many interesting locations such as London, Oxford, and Portsmouth. They are all now energized more than ever to study English as they hope to return to England in the near future.
SEST Taiwan also held their first summer camp at Shane Global Language Center- Hastings for 3 weeks. This was a great opportunity for Shane students to further their study in England directly. Our students were very excited to meet their homestay family, many of whom still keep in touch even though they are back in Taiwan. Each day, they not only enjoyed their lessons but also the activities with their new friends. This year was a special trip to the UK because the students had a chance to see the parades in London for the Olympics. It was an unforgettable memory for each and every one of them.
