Children, parents and teachers all had a wonderful Christmas time on an (almost) frosty Saturday morning last week, at the Shane English Christmas Family Fayre. As the nearby Taipei 101 glittered like a Christmas tree, children from Muzha, Wenhua and Chang Long kindergarten schools performed some festive favourites such as Jingle Bell Rock, We Wish You A Merry Christmas, Rockinโ Around the Christmas Tree, Merry Christmas Everyone, Little Saint Nick, and Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer.
Aerobics group YTL led everyone through some fun dancing and competitive games. The kids all got excited, and the dads all became exhausted. After that, our hardworking teachers brought out the games they had prepared, and families moved around the hall, enjoying games such as the gift-stacking race, pin the red nose on the reindeer, and throw the snowball through the snowman. I myself excelled at the Christmas-bauble and spoon race.
We all enjoyed another sing-song at the end, and the teachers even gave an impromptu dance performance during Frosty the Snowman.
